The Town of Davidson seeks a dynamic communications professional with experience in local government, project management, public relations, and strategic planning . The Communications Director, under minimal supervision, performs complex communication and marketing work, using many types of media, and coordinates information flow to the public on a broad range of town programs, activities, and services that encourage open communication and civic engagement.  The Communications Director participates in the overall strategy of communications with management team to ensure that all work being done on behalf of the town continues to enhance the town's mission, vision and core values as set by the mayor and board of commissioners.
